ครีปเปอร์เป็นตัวละครศัตรูที่โจมตีโดยการระเบิดใกล้เป้าหมายและยังเป็นหนึ่งศัตรูหลักและมาสคอตของเกมแซนด์บอกซ์ไมน์คราฟต์ ครีปเปอร์ถูกเพิ่มลงในไมน์คราฟต์ในการอัปเดตอัลฟาของเกมเมื่อวันที่ 31 สิงหาคม 2009[1] นับตั้งแต่เปิด ตัวครีปเปอร์ได้กลายเป็นสัญลักษณ์ที่รู้จักกันอย่างกว้างขวางของไมน์คราฟต์ และเป็นจุดเด่นที่นิยมใช้ในสินค้าและโฆษณาของไมน์คราฟต์อีกด้วย[2]
